You have not joined as a Foundation member yet. Membership tiers fund the Foundation's standards work and unlock specifications, research, and working group participation — without granting governance influence.
Governance & Contribution Notice
Membership fees and donations fund the Foundation's operations but never confer governance rights. Per the Governance Framework (§8.1), no member or donor — regardless of tier or contribution size — is entitled to a board seat, council seat, editorial authority, or preferential treatment in working groups as a result of payment. Board, council, and working group participation are appointment-based, on expertise and contribution, not financial tier.
No single donor — or group of affiliated entities sharing a common UBO or consolidated supervision group — may contribute more than 3% of the Foundation's approved annual budget in a given year. This cap is structural and non-negotiable.
